KBO odds, picks, lines, predictions, schedule, best bets for June 4: This three-way parlay pays over 9-1

The Hanwha Eagles are on a downward spiral that has landed them in the basement of the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO). Hanwha has followed a stretch during which it won five of eight contests with a losing streak that reached double digits with Wednesday’s 6-2 setback against the Kiwoom Heroes. The Eagles attempt to halt the 10-game slide when they host the Heroes on Thursday in one of five KBO series finales that begin at 5:30 a.m. ET. Hanwha hasn’t won since defeating the first-place NC Dinos on May 22 and sit 1.5 games behind the SK Wyverns for ninth in the standings.

The latest KBO odds have the Heroes as the -255 (risk $255 to return $100) favorites against the Eagles, the Dinos at -230 against the Wyverns, the Doosan Bears at -150 against the KT Wiz, the Kia Tigers at -185 against the Lotte Giants and the LG Twins at -160 against the Samsung Lions. Before locking in any KBO picks for Thursday’s games, be sure to see the Korean baseball best bets from SportsLine data engineer Mike McClure.

Recognized in the book “Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn your hobby into a Fortune” as a top Daily Fantasy Baseball Player, McClure has won almost $2 million in daily Fantasy sports. And in 2016, McClure launched the wOBA Projection Model for MLB picks, which has returned $2,300 to $100 bettors. If anybody knows how to spot value in baseball lines, it’s him.

Now, he’s turned his attention to the KBO and locked in three strong picks for Thursday. Parlaying his three selections would pay out over 9-1. You can only see them here

Top Korean Baseball predictions for June 4

One of McClure’s top KBO picks for Thursday: He’s backing the Lions (+131) to complete a sweep of their three-game series against the Twins.

Samsung has been playing its best baseball of the season as it has won seven of its last nine contests, including the first two of the set against the second-place Twins. The Lions out-pitched LG in the series opener, winning 2-0 behind a combined five-hitter, and slugged their way to a 12-6 triumph on Wednesday. Lee Won-seok had a monstrous eight-RBI performance that included a three-run double and a three-run homer. The 33-year-old third baseman, who drove in five runs against Lotte on May 27, is three behind KBO leader Preston Tucker with 25 RBI.

“The Twins are the better team, but they shouldn’t be this big of a favorite with Jung Chan-heon on the mound,” McClure told SportsLine. “I make the Lions just +115, so we’re getting some decent value here.”
