KBO odds, picks, lines, predictions, schedule, best bets for May 14: This three-way parlay pays over 6-1

The NC Dinos share first place in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) with the Lotte Giants, as both teams sport 6-1 records. The Dinos are one of three teams that will be seeking three-game sweeps on Thursday as the finales of all five KBO series begin at 5:30 a.m. ET. After edging the KT Wiz 7-6 in the opener, NC posted another one-run victory on Wednesday, scoring two runs in the bottom of the 10th inning for a 5-4 triumph. Lotte bounced back from Tuesday’s 11-6 setback to record a 10-9 victory over the Doosan Bears as Min Byung-hun belted a walk-off solo home run in the ninth.

The latest KBO odds from William Hill have the Dinos as the -180 (risk $180 to return $100) favorites against the Wiz, the Bears at -135 against the Giants, the LG Twins at -170 against the SK Wyverns, the Kia Tigers at -125 against the Hanwha Eagles and the Kiwoom Heroes at -145 against the Samsung Lions. Before locking in any KBO picks for Thursday’s games, be sure to see the Korean baseball best bets from SportsLine data engineer Mike McClure, who has hit 13 of his last 21 picks.

Recognized in the book “Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn your hobby into a Fortune” as a top Daily Fantasy Baseball Player, McClure has won almost $2 million in daily Fantasy sports. And in 2016, McClure launched the wOBA Projection Model for MLB picks, which has returned $2,300 to $100 bettors. If anybody knows how to spot value in baseball lines, it’s him.

Now, he’s turned his attention to the Korean Baseball Organization and has locked in three strong picks for Thursday. Parlaying his three selections would pay out over 6-1. You can only see them here

Top Korea Baseball predictions for May 14

One of McClure’s top KBO picks for Thursday: He’s backing the Wyverns (+140) to defeat the Twins and avoid a three-game sweep.

The Wyverns enter the series finale with a five-game losing streak and share the KBO basement with the Wiz at 1-6. They have been outscored 23-7 over the first two games of the set after Wednesday’s 14-2 beatdown. But SK managed to record 10 hits in that setback and Han Dong-min shares the league lead with four home runs, while Twins starting pitcher Cha Woo-chan allowed four runs over six innings in his last outing.

“The Wyverns’ lineup has a ton of potential and will break out at some point,” McClure told SportsLine. “Thursday should see the start of that.”
