KBO odds, picks, lines, predictions, schedule, best bets for May 16: This four-way parlay pays nearly 14-1

After winning eight of their first nine games this season, the NC Dinos have raced out to a two-game lead in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) standings, and they’ll look to continue putting distance on the three teams chasing them in second place on Saturday when they take on last place SK Wyverns. The defending champion Doosan Bears, the Kiwoom Heroes and the Lotte Giants are all at 6-3 and Kiwoom will have even a chance to make up double the ground as they play a doubleheader on Saturday against the LG Twins.

The latest KBO odds list the Hanwha Eagles (-145) as the biggest favorites of the day as they host the Giants (+115) on Saturday at 1 a.m. ET. Meanwhile, the Dinos are -135 favorites over the Wyverns (+110). Before locking in any KBO picks for Saturday’s games, be sure to see the Korean baseball best bets from SportsLine data engineer Mike McClure, who has hit 15 of his last 23 KBO picks.

Recognized in the book “Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn your hobby into a Fortune” as a top Daily Fantasy Baseball Player, McClure has won almost $2 million in daily Fantasy sports. And in 2016, McClure launched the wOBA Projection Model for MLB picks, which has returned $2,300 to $100 bettors. If anybody knows how to spot value in baseball lines, it’s him.

Now, he’s turned his attention to the KBO League and locked in three strong picks for Saturday. Parlaying his four selections would pay out almost 14-1. You can only see them here

Top Korean Baseball predictions for May 16

One of McClure’s top KBO picks for Saturday: He’s going under 11.5 runs as the Samsung Lions take on the KT Wiz. The Wiz offense is tied for second-best in the KBO with 57 runs in nine games, but they’ll have their hands full with seasoned Lions veteran Yoon Sung-hwan. The 39-year-old has 135 career wins in 14 seasons with the Lions and has a 4.21 career ERA.

Meanwhile, the Lions offense has scored four runs or less in half of their games this season and third baseman Lee Won-seok has really struggled to get anything going from the cleanup spot so far this season. Won-seok has an OPS of just .664 through 10 games and he’s gone hitless on five separate occasions this season with the Lions scoring an average of just 2.8 runs per game in those hitless performances.
