KBO odds, picks, lines, top predictions, schedule, best bets for June 5: This three-way parlay pays over 9-1

The Hanwha Eagles are in the midst of a horrible stretch, and the prospects of things getting better soon aren’t very good. Hanwha is in the midst of an 11-game losing streak that has landed the team at the bottom of the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) standings. The Eagles have a daunting task ahead of them Friday as they attempt to halt the slide against the first-place NC Dinos in one of five KBO series openers that begin at 5:30 a.m. ET. Hanwha has not been victorious since recording a 5-3 triumph on May 22 against the Dinos, who maintained their three-game lead over the LG Twins with Thursday’s 10-0 destruction of the SK Wyverns.

The latest KBO odds from William Hill have the Dinos as the -280 (risk $280 to return $100) favorites against the Eagles, the Wyverns at -160 over the Samsung Lions, the Kiwoom Heroes at -135 over the Twins, the Doosan Bears at -125 over the Kia Tigers and the Lotte Giants at -125 over the KT Wiz. Before locking in any KBO picks for Friday’s games, be sure to see the Korean baseball best bets from SportsLine data engineer Mike McClure.

Recognized in the book “Fantasy Football (and Baseball) for Smart People: How to Turn your hobby into a Fortune” as a top Daily Fantasy Baseball Player, McClure has won almost $2 million in daily Fantasy sports. And in 2016, McClure launched the wOBA Projection Model for MLB picks, which has returned $2,300 to $100 bettors. If anybody knows how to spot value in baseball lines, it’s him.

Now, he’s turned his attention to the KBO and locked in three strong picks for Friday. Parlaying his three selections would pay out over 9-1. You can only see them here

Top Korean Baseball predictions for June 5

One of McClure’s top KBO picks for Friday: He’s backing the Bears (-125) to put an end to the Kia Tigers’ three-game winning streak.

The Tigers are coming off a three-game sweep during which they outscored Lotte 25-7. They posted a 7-3 victory on Thursday as Preston Tucker went 2-for-4 with a solo homer to increase his league-leading total to 29 RBIs. However, the Bears just won two of three against KT, scoring a total of 25 runs in their victories after posting a 14-8 triumph on Thursday in which Kim Jae-hwan, Choi Joo-hwan and Oh Jae-won each homered and drove in four runs. In addition, Jose Fernandez leads the KBO with a .444 batting average while ranking second with 27 RBIs.

“This Doosan lineup is built to hit right-handed pitching, and Kia’s Lee Min-woo is in line for a little regression at some point this season,” McClure told SportsLine. “The Bears, led by Jose Fernandez, will have seven left-handed bats in the lineup.”
