LOOK: Ex-NBA player Nate Robinson challenges YouTube personality Jake Paul to boxing match

Four-time NBA Slam Dunk champion Nate Robinson is itching for a fight against YouTube star Jake Paul and wants to step into the ring with him, a desire that likely has the most opportunistic boxing promotions salivating. The former NBA player is just sick of the YouTuber calling out weaker opponents to fight, and Robinson even labeled Paul a “bully.”

“I want all the smoke,” Robinson said, per TMZ Sports. “I’m a top-tier athlete. You beating me would probably be the biggest accomplishment for your boxing career, or social media influencer – whatever. That’s your biggest claim to fame right now is knocking out Nate Robinson, so come do it.

“I’m putting my everything on the line for you. Let’s get it done. It’s that simple.”

Robinson even went ahead and named a list of high-profile boxers, both active and retired, that would help him train for this bout.

“If I get trained with somebody like a [Mike] Tyson, [Floyd] Mayweather, [Terence] Crawford, [Vasyl] Lomachenko, if I fight and I train with some of the best of the best in the world, like please, I don’t think he stands a chance,” Robinson said.

Paul has been involved in celebrity boxing matches before, fighting fellow YouTubers Deji Olatunji and AnEsonGib — apologies to those whose blissful lives had gone up to this point without knowing who any of these people are. Paul has won both of his bouts.

Robinson, meanwhile, was last seen playing in Ice Cube’s BIG3. Before that, he played for the New Orleans Pelicans where he appeared in just two games during the 2015-16 season.
